The playing field has never been bigger

The Player is a next-generation model, designed using a specific volume distribution, optimized for superior efficiency in hard conditions.

A shape developed for consistent waves, not necessarily big, but with a significant mass and power, where it is good to have a sincere board, trusty on the rail, capable of generating projection while ensuring flawless precision.

Carving machine

The generous volume under the front foot provides uncompromising stability, even and especially in heavy wave conditions; the thin and sharp rear part delivers precision and sensitivity.

The bottom design, with a moderate rocker line and a single concave running through the whole length, offers the right compromise between maneuverability and flow. This shape broaden your confidence in difficult conditions, while remaining maneuverable and versatile, capable to draw all kind of lines, depending on the quality of the waves.

Shaper’s breakdown

I developed this model to offer increased efficiency in difficult conditions, with sizeable and ‘’thick’’ waves.

The shape finds its balance between front floatation and rear lift, with a subtle mix of volume distribution, rocker curve, concave depth and planing area.

The goal is to allow the surfer to lean on the rail with trust, to make turns at full speed in total control; to benefit from excellent precision; and still to get the possibility to draw tight and aggressive lines.

Depending on the sizes chosen, it is possible to make the board more versatile or more suited specific conditions: the short versions are suitable for aggressive surfing in relatively small waves; the longer versions allow you to effectively face waves that are much more consistent and powerful…

Keep in mind that the measurements presented here are guidelines for you to understand the proportions of the model. These sizes are proven and popular among surfers, but it is possible (and we recommend) to adapt them to your body frame, level and experience, to meet your specific needs.

More tech

The outline draws a fluid and continuous line, with a slightly advanced wide point and a rounded and reasonably tight tail.

The bottom features a moderate single concave throughout the whole length, with a slight double concave between the side fins.

The rocker has a moderate and progressive curve, to ensure good natural speed and lots of versatility.

The volume distribution is fairly advanced, with quite a bit of thickness at the stringer but not too big rails.
