Created to offer the most accomplished compromise possible among performance, versatility and accessibility, the Edge2 is an all-rounded shape, comfortable in small conditions, while remaining perfectly efficient in heavier or faster waves.

Aggressive et silky smooth

All the elements have been optimized to achieve the right balance between roundness and aggressiveness:
– a moderate rocker, with just the right amount of curve to ensure sincerity and maneuverability
– a simple and effective concave, to get the desired versatility
– a well-spread volume distribution, to ensure above-average buoyancy and forgiveness…
– a specific outline, with a wide area in the central part, to provide impeccable glide in less powerful waves; but a relatively narrow nose and tail, to ensure control and precision even in hollower sections and at high speeds.

Shaper’s breakdown

“Some time ago, while talking with a surfer, I realized that, even though several models in our range partially met his requirements, I couldn’t offer him one that would have completely met his specifications.

To meet the challenge, I had to look for new solutions and push the development to achieve more than just an improvement on an existing shape.

Thanks to this targeted work, the Edge2 is capable of offering flawless efficiency and forgiveness, in a much wider range than any previous model.”

The characteristics of this shape allow you to choose the dimensions according to your needs: you can opt for a shorter length for greater maneuverability without sacrificing buoyancy; or you can choose a “normal” size to enjoy a board that still performs well, but is larger and more forgiving.

The outline is flowing, with quite a lot of area in the central section but relatively narrow ends.

The bottom features a single concave through its entire length, with a slight double concave between the side fins.

The rocker is progressive, with a moderate curve.

The volume is generously distributed along its entire length to ensure buoyancy and forgiveness.
