This latest generation, with slightly narrowed tail and nose, allows for additional ease in hollow sections, offering more versatility.

The volume distribution and the fairly straight rocker line, the slightly oversized nose and tail, make it a particularly effective shape for generating speed.

The bottom, finishing with a pronounced V, allows you to take advantage of the ample planing area without being hindered by the width of the tail.

Shaper’s breakdown

When I designed this model a few years ago, its proportions put it in category of its own, very ”small waves” oriented.

Since then, with the evolution of shapes and measurements, I realized that more and more surfers are considering using this model in a much wider range of conditions.

So I wanted to make it evolve so that it could actually have more versatility, without losing the characteristics that made it so popular.
Now of the outline has a break about 12” from the tail, making it possible to create a pivot point and slightly tighten the tail without really losing area: the board keeps its speed, while being more manageable and more at ease in the hollow parts of the wave. The nose is slightly narrower, making easier to draw tight arcs.

More tech

With a fairly wide nose and tail, the outline draws a fluid line, without bumps or wings, ending with a well-rounded squash tail.

The bottom features a single concave under the front foot, with a slight double concave between the side fins, ending in a V.

The rocker is moderate, with a progressive curve and a more pronounced nose lift.
The volume is distributed generously and evenly over the entire shape.
